Sweepstakes Period: This Sweepstakes begins at 10:00 AM (Pacific Time) on August 29, 2026 and ends at 9:00 PM (Pacific Time) on August 30, 2026 (the “Sweepstakes Period”). Sponsor’s computer is the official time-keeping device for this Sweepstakes.
Promotional Partner: Remitly Global, Inc. and its subsidiaries and affiliates (“Remitly”) are promotional partners of this Sweepstakes. Remitly is not the Sponsor or administrator of this Sweepstakes. This Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Festival Chapín, its organizers, or any venue, and this Sweepstakes is not affiliated with Visa U.S.A. Inc. or any gift card issuer.
Eligibility: Sweepstakes open only to individual legal residents of the United States who have attained the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence as of the date of entry into the Sweepstakes and who are physically present at Festival Chapín in Los Angeles, California during the Sweepstakes Period. Employees of Sponsor and Remitly and each of their respective affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, advertising, public relations and promotion agencies, the judges, and members of each of their immediate families (i.e., spouses, parents, children and siblings, and their respective spouses) and those living in the same household of each are not eligible to enter.
How to Enter: There is one (1) method of entry for the Sweepstakes. To enter, during the Sweepstakes Period an Entrant must scan the Sweepstakes QR code displayed at the Remitly activation at Festival Chapín in Los Angeles, California and submit the official entry form by providing their full name, e-mail address and telephone number. All required fields must be completed. Internet access and a compatible mobile device are required to enter; any wireless carrier, data or other charges incurred in connection with entry are the sole responsibility of the Entrant. No illegible, incomplete, forged, or altered entries will be accepted. Limit: One (1) entry per person for the entire Sweepstakes Period. Entries will not be acknowledged or returned. All entries become the property of Sponsor.
Prizes and Odds: One (1) Prize will be awarded. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period.
Selection of Winner: One (1) Potential Winner will be selected from all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period in a random drawing to be conducted on or about August 31, 2026, approximately two (2) days after the close of the Sweepstakes Period. Judges’ decisions are final on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes.
Winner Notification and Confirmation: The Potential Winner will be notified by e-mail at the e-mail address provided on their entry form, and may also be contacted by telephone, on or about August 31, 2026. In order to claim the Prize, the Potential Winner must reply to the notification e-mail within twenty-four (24) hours of the date and time the notification e-mail is sent by Sponsor, confirming their identity and eligibility. This reply requirement allows Sponsor to confirm that the e-mail address submitted is valid and belongs to the Potential Winner. If the Potential Winner does not reply within twenty-four (24) hours, if the notification e-mail is returned as undeliverable, or if the Potential Winner is determined to be ineligible or declines the Prize, the Prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected by Sponsor at random from among the remaining eligible entries. Each alternate winner is subject to the same twenty-four (24) hour reply requirement. Sponsor may repeat this process up to three (3) times; if no Potential Winner or alternate winner responds as required, Sponsor reserves the right not to award the Prize. Sponsor’s records of the date and time the notification e-mail was sent and of any reply received are final.
Prize Delivery: The Prize will be delivered as an electronic Visa gift card sent by e-mail to the e-mail address provided by the winner on their entry form, promptly after the Potential Winner replies to the notification e-mail within the required twenty-four (24) hour period and Sponsor confirms their eligibility, and in most cases within one (1) business day of that confirmation. No affidavit of eligibility, liability release, or other claim documentation is required to receive the Prize in this Sweepstakes; the timely e-mail reply described above is the only step required of the Potential Winner. It is the winner’s sole responsibility to provide a valid, working e-mail address and to ensure that e-mail from Sponsor is not blocked or filtered. Sponsor is not responsible for a Prize e-mail that is undeliverable, blocked, filtered, or misdirected as a result of an inaccurate, inactive, or incorrectly provided e-mail address. The Prize is subject to the terms, conditions and expiration policies of the gift card issuer. Any taxes on the Prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. No cash or other substitution or transfer of the Prize is permitted, except that Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised Prize becomes unavailable.
Winner List: To obtain a list of prize winners, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to the Sponsor at the address listed below. Requests must be received within two (2) weeks of the close of the Sweepstakes Period and must include the name of the Sweepstakes.
